On September 4th of 1997, Fabio Di Celmo bled to death in the lobby of the Hotel Copacabana in Havana, Cuba.A bomb had been placed in an ashtray near where he was sitting. And the resulting explosion shot a shard of glass into his neck. That explosion was part of a string of bombings that hit Cuba throughout 1997. They targeted hotels, resorts and bars frequented by tourists.
Kevin Bolender traveled to Cuba to meet with Giustino Di Celmo ... as well as others who had their own stories to tell about a decades-long series of aggressive acts against Cuban civilians. The result is a book called Voices From The Other Side: An Oral History Of Terrorism Against Cuba.
